Our Story
From Survival to Strength – Why I Created Haven
In October 2018, after the birth of my son, I nearly died from sepsis following a botched c-section. It was a terrifying, traumatic time—and it broke me. I was unwell for a long time and couldn’t be the reliable employee I once was. But I still needed to work. I needed purpose. I needed somewhere that felt safe again.
That’s when I realised: if the environment I needed didn’t exist, I would build it.
And so Haven Legal Co. was born—a space built not just for clients, but for myself and my future team. A place grounded in empathy, flexibility, and calm during life’s hardest moments.
We opened our doors in Coburg just six weeks before the world shut down in 2020. Starting a firm during a global pandemic? Wild. But it only reinforced why Haven mattered so much.
Fast forward to today—our team is thriving, and we help people across Victoria in Family Law, Estate Planning, Conveyancing, and Deceased Estates. Whether online or face-to-face, we focus on making the legal process feel human, manageable, and safe.
